Lifes or Defs

"....Regular people who got in over their heads in credit card debt and want their lifes back on track." -- Todd Cook, Founder 800CreditCardDebt, in a television commercial for his company.

I listened to this on my DVR three or four times. My son gave it a listen too. He said “lifes,” not “lives.” Of course, he could have a speech impediment.

Thank you so much for pointing out this monstrosity. I've googled the asinine commercial before and all I've found is people calling that spokesman "hot".

Todd Cook is average-looking at best, and his saying people get their "lifes" back together illustrates he is also very stupid.

That just shows the mentality of people who believe those debt-free scams that are all over the place.

Thank God I am not the only one who cringes when I hear this damn commercial. Some one needs to fire the person who produced this commercial.

And I thank you for cringing with me :-)
