It's your language. You use it every day. You should strive to master it. My late mother, a 27-year, graduate-level professor of English, embedded that in my brain once upon a time. I’m not nearly as smart as she was, but I’m sharp enough to recognize that the vast majority of native-born Americans can’t speak or write English worth a lick.

No Deal :-(
Well loyal readers, it seems my 15 minutes of fame – having this site linked on a bona fide Wikipedia page – have elapsed. After quite a few visits to this blog by people at KWES, the Wikipedia link to my page magically disappeared. :-(
Oh well. There’s still my original post; and the horribly written article remains on the KWES site.
But I amhere on answers.com. Wonder how long it'll be before that one's gone ;-)
