It's your language. You use it every day. You should strive to master it. My late mother, a 27-year, graduate-level professor of English, embedded that in my brain once upon a time. I’m not nearly as smart as she was, but I’m sharp enough to recognize that the vast majority of native-born Americans can’t speak or write English worth a lick.

A New World
The image below is a snip of the left-hand navigation bar at a local TV/radio station web site.
It should be "Beamer's World"
I sent an email to the station. Let's see if they fix it.

Not necessarily. If they meant "World belonging to Beamer" then you would be correct, however, if they mean World of many Beamers, then thay are.

Unfortunately it is not applicable in this case because "Beamer" is the last name of a newscaster to whom the "World" belongs ;-)
