Fight, Fight!

"He picked a rootin' tootin' maverick corruption fighter who has a stellar record of doing exactly that in Alaska, where there's some corruption that needs to be fighted." – Republican strategist Mike Murphy, Meet the Press, 31 August 2008.

Apparently there's some bad grammar that also needs to be "fighted." *shudder*

And lots of it! I had to rewind the DVR three or four times, and have someone else listen to it before I was 100% convinced the guy said "fighted."

Unfortunately, the Meet The Press transcript didn't capture it. :-(

Thanks for dropping by!
